World Nutrition Day : A Curtain Raiser

World Nutrition Day is celebrated on 28th May every year to raise the awareness about the role and importance of healthy and balanced diet.
To celebrate the occasion, the Departments of Hepatology and Dietetics, SGPGIMS, Lucknow are jointly organizing a short course on “Nutritional Assessment and Management in Patients with Liver Diseases” on Saturday, 27th May 2023. It is a half-day interactive program which primarily focuses on training the stakeholders about the dietary requirement and its management in patients with different stages of chronic liver disease.

Our target audience will be budding dieticians, nutrition interns, medical students (graduate or postgraduate), young faculty or anyone else who is involved in nutritional management of the liver disease patients.
